Are you concerned about preserving views of Lake Union and surrounding areas, maintaining the historic nature of the area, the affordable housing options in the neighborhood, or traffic impacts associated with higher density? Then you WANT a voice in the upcoming re-zone that will affect the Cascade Neighborhood and the rest of South Lake Union!

Background: The City is currently studying proposals that would significantly revise the land use and zoning of the South Lake Union neighborhood. The City will be presenting these proposals and taking public comment on February 12 at the South Lake Union Armory (Naval Reserve Building, 860 Terry Ave. N.) from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. The February 9th informational meeting is intended to update you on the issues, encourage attendance at the February 12 meeting, and make sure that your Cascade Neighborhood concerns are represented.
