Urban Farmhouse in Maple Leaf
419 NE 88th Street didn’t catch our eye right away. But once a reader pointed out its urban farmhouse interior and its Houzz fame, we dug in and agreed, that it might be Urban Living worthy.
With 6 bedrooms and 3 baths, the colonial cedar shingle facade was built in 1942. It’s 3,943 square feet were renovated in 2012 and we love the focus of galvanized steel among the Siberian oak and exposed ceiling beams. The center of the main floor opens up to the second, which leads to the rooftop and its views of the mountains. The home’s setup allows for guests on the main floor and the remaining bedrooms upstairs, although the master sits separated from a large, loft-style landing. Definitely plenty of character in this home.
The home is listed for $1,175,000 and has plenty of parking.
