Two bedroom at Leona
The Leona, on the south slope of Queen Anne is a nice building. Leona was originally built in 1907 and then during the last cycle, the developer, Barrientos, took it down to the studs, rebuilt and retrofitted to be entirely new and contemporary inside. Barrientos retained the original historic exterior while creating interiors with 21st century fit and finishes.
Unit 10 just hit the market there. Its a 1,441 square foot two bedroom, 1.75 bathroom place. Priced at $724k it seems like a good bang for the buck relative to how much you’d have to spend for an equivalent sized two bedroom in a big downtown tower.
