Turn around at the Decatur

Matt: It seems as though there has been a turn around at the Decatur since our first reader report. Read on about how the situation has changed from a reader.

I closed on my unit in Decatur 32 days ago and am very pleased with my decision. Since Decatur and Wysong have previously received an interesting review on this site, I wanted to take a moment to write about my experiences so far. As I meet more and more of my neighbors I am finding that the review I’m about to type is not an anomaly, we’re all pretty star-struck at our find.

The sales staff is informative and fun, and the management staff has been extremely helpful. One thing I think is important for anyone interested in Decatur is to realize is that Wysong is still working on the building and the units. Inspection reports from the beginning of sales aren’t going to be nearly the same as current or future inspection reports. As an example my inspector was concerned about a return pipe in the parking garage, and within a week or two Wysong had fixed the issue on their own accord. Another example is the roofing. My inspector was concerned about leaking in the garage, but the garage rooftop has been redone. As someone who’s been in the building a month I can safely say that improvements, both big and small, are obvious.

I know this sounds like a cheesy sales pitch, but I’m so confident and excited with my decision to buy at Decatur that I’m trying to get my friends to join me. The neighborhood is breathtakingly gorgeous. The units and common areas are beautiful and classy. And it’s dog friendly! This is my second time owning a condo in Seattle, and from what I’ve seen and know of Decatur it’s a solid choice. [Given the number of real estate professionals who are buying units in the building it would seem my sentiments are echoed.]

Decatur has the location and it has the look. Unfortunately one other thing it has is a previous unfair review.
