See the Woodinville home with 30 offers last week ?
It is a tale of two markets! Single-family homes can be really hot. We had clients offer on this Capitol Hill home and it had 16 offers. Meanwhile, on the Eastside, we hear this Woodinville home had 30! But, for say condos, the market isn’t as crazy; last week we helped a buyer negotiate nearly 5% off a 37th-floor condo. Our clients are effectively paying $900k when the same unit two floors down sold for $1.4m a few years ago ?.
Don’t miss the condo at Hendon we just listed or this nearly new Brighton contemporary.
P.S. Our next home-buying class is on April 9
So many new listings on the Eastside
Seattle: 283 new listings last week, up 0.7% w-o-w
Eastside: 213 new listings last week, up 15% w-o-w
Will buyers absorb all these new listings?
Seattle: 201 pending last week, up 1.5% w-o-w
Eastside: 160 pending last week, up 3.2% w-o-w
Buyers, be patient; sellers, let’s go!
Buyers:Â buyers should be patient, the home-buying season is just getting started, and you still have lots of time to find your dream home.
Sellers:Â you should list sooner rather than later to take advantage of low competition from other sellers and seemingly many eager buyers.
