See the home with 8 offers yesterday
Sure enough, the mortgage market had priced in the Fed’s rate cut last week so we didn’t see mortgage rates drop (this is a good explainer on why), instead they ticked up… But for most buyers, this will still be a great fall – we’re seeing lots of new listings, rates are in the low 6s, and sellers will soon be very negotiable on pricing if they aren’t already. Of course, some homes are still hot! Like this $899k West Seattle home that had 8 offers yesterday. Or this $1m Wallingford townhome that had 3 offers.
Don’t miss this great view condo we listed at Cristalla last week.
