Seattle weekly wrap-up: new listings continue to cool
Better late than never, here’s what happened last week with Seattle real estate – new listings continued to slow down, just 267 hit the market (down 5% w-o-w). But buyer activity picked up with 253 homes going pending, up 16% from the previous week.
This is purely anecdotal, but after a slow couple of months, we’re talking to more and more clients looking to get started searching for a home this fall. If you’re looking to get started this fall, check out our home buying class on August 17th at 4 pm or just hit reply.
What caught our eye? Beat the heat with this $10m waterfront Leschi home with a pool. Or here’s a custom like-new 2018 modern on Phinney Ridge for $3.4m. Lofts continue to hit the market – there’s a double-height one at Monique (listed at what it sold for in 2018) and one with exposed brick at the Nord.
Outside Seattle, this 1977 home on Marrowstone Island caught our eye as did this 1995 PNW contemporary overlooking Chuckanut Bay that is already pending.
