Remodeled Kirkland MCM
Wow, I love this remodeled Kirkland mid-century modern at 12945 74th Place NE!
Built in 1962, it has had a studs-out-remodel, but it has kept some of its original charm like the vaulted tongue and groove ceiling with big beams. In particular we like the covered outdoor space right off the living room that flows out to a pool with an outdoor shower and half bath (how thoughtful!). Hard to envision pool parties given the weather, but summer will be here before we know it.
Sitting on a third of an acre, the house is 3,181 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3.25 bathrooms.
Priced at $1.3m the house last sold $730k in 2016, though it wasn’t nearly as updated as it is today (see the before photos).
