Pb Elemental – Modern Home Available

I am a big fan of Elemental Architecture formerly known as Pb Elemental and here is a 2008 1,787 square foot stand alone home on Capitol Hill/Central area for $715,000 (last sold in 2009 for $590,000.) It appears very well maintained and has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, rooftop deck (with fridge, grill and audio). Each bedroom has a private bath and the parking garage off the alley. Better hurry.

The funny thing is that this was the house we were renting until two weeks ago when we got booted so the owner could sell it. I wasn’t going to blog it because we weren’t pleased :).

The MLS photos looked stretched horizontally… The hardwood floors took a beating under the last tenant. The living room is an awkward shape making it a little difficult to layout. The “Fully finished extra room in the basement for den or hobby room” is the hot water heater room. It really is more of storage room than a den. There appears to be two tandem spots behind the house but that land was sold to a neighbor so it isn’t usable by the house. We liked the neighborhood, and the immediate neighbors were fine, but the house doesn’t quite fit in. Though it will fit in a little more once Isola completes two houses one lot over.
