Value of Parking Spot on Capitol Hill?

Now that Trace Lofts is sold out they’re auctioning off three parking spots starting at $10k/each. I’d be curious to hear of other parking spot sales in or around Capitol Hill.

With most units at trace -very- underwater and more foreclosure signs posted on doors I’d be suprised if all three of these sell — given it’s only open to residents. Of course Ted -could- have turned one or more of them over to the association as guest, bike or car washing spots & benefitted everyone….

Plus, I’m renting one of the three spots, the other two are empty. If there was demand for spots wouldn’t they all be rented?

30k is 30k. He’ll sell them easily.

I’m sure if the HOA is interested Ted will cut them a deal.

Scenarios:
If I buy a condo can I sell/rent my parking stall to another tenant? (I know selling it to an outside person would raise security risks).

If I don’t want a parking stall: can I negotiate that in my price then they are left to sell the space later?

S1, generally yes. And usually, everything is negotiable :).
