More Isola Townhomes – Different Layout
UPDATE: this is another project that was designed by Caron Architecture. Good job folks!
Last week I wrote about rowhouse and duplex townhomes at The Nines from Isola Homes. This week it will be their new corner style townhomes in Leschi/Judkins Park. These 4 units at 3003 S Judkins Street are each 1,611 square feet, with 3 bedrooms, 1.75 bathrooms, and list for $569,950.
The floorplans show a very workable layout. The entrance is on the ground floor, which also has 2 bedrooms, and a full bathroom. The second floor has the living room and kitchen/dining area, a small deck, but no bathroom. The living room looks large for a townhome, not squeezed at all. A master suite is on the third floor with it’s own deck. There is a walk-in closet directly off the bedroom and the laundry is off the hallway. The stairs are completely separate from the bedroom, so you don’t have to worry about guests seeing your untidy room on the way up to the rooftop deck. A small wet-bar at rooftop level is a nice touch.
There is only 1 parking space per unit. This seems to be a trend with Isola townhomes and I bet others are doing the same. It frees up space in the ground floor or alternatively saves money by not having an underground garage, but some won’t like it. Finally, my preference would be for the living/kitchen to be on the third floor; for quicker access to the roof, and better views.
Could that bit of blue between the trees be Lake Washington?
