More Condos (and Hotel Units) Coming to Downtown
On Wednesday Marc Stiles at the PSBJ broke the news, Downtown Seattle hotel-condo project planned:
The project is planned for the corner of Stewart Street and Minor Avenue, according to a press release on GIS’s website. The site, which is now a parking lot, is the same place where GIS planned a 25-story hotel and residential project six years ago.

SEATTLE, WA – GIS International Group is pleased to announce its commencement of the development process on the land that was entered into a structured deal with a private investment group in Downtown Seattle on the corner of Stewart Street and Minor Avenue. GIS International Group will work on constructing a unique hotel-condo building in the Denny Triangle Neighborhood.GIS is assembling a team of local professionals to design and build this unique building. The details of the development are not currently available but stay tuned for more details to be announced in the very near future.
The character and style of the design will be new to the area and will be independently managed.
