A pair of brand spanking new modern townhouses, only a five minute walk (says google) from the Beacon Hill light rail station.  Get moving, they are listing for only $460,000 and $470,000.  3011 18th Ave S are each 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, with 1,725 square feet.  Built by Green Canopy Homes, they have hard wood floors, stainless steel appliances, high efficiency heating and cooling, rooftop deck, garage, and a Energy Performance Guarantee (?).  Cons: half bath opens off kitchen, no gas in kitchen, and backyard consists of a house.  I’m guessing the house will be replaced with more townhouses in the near future.  Things I like:  close to Beacon Hill light rail and shops, ceiling high windows, you can find the front door, the garage door blends into the design, and a water permeable driveway.
