Can’t Miss It: Modern Home Tours Comes to Seattle on September 29
UPDATE: One of the homes (3615 Woodlawn Ave N, Seattle, 98103) is no longer a part of the tour. In its place, architecture firm Hutchison & Maul are offering public tours of their deliciously modern studio.
Modern Home Tour is coming to Seattle! On Saturday, September 29, six to ten of Seattle’s most innovative homes will have their doors open for private tours. Select homeowners, architects, and designers will be on hand to answer questions about the structures. The houses currently on the tour are spread out across multiple Seattle neighborhoods including Wallingford, West Seattle, Capitol Hill, and the Central District, to name a few. Take a look at all of the homes on the tour (so far) below. Due to the vastness of the tour, it is recommended that you use your own source of transportation.
Purchase tickets in advance before September 28 at a rate of $25 to see all homes on the tour. Day of tickets will be available for $30 each. All proceeds will benefit the Seattle Architecture Foundation. The event is sponsored by Gray Magazine.
Modern Home Tours, LLC is an Austin-Texas based organization that has put on informative residential tours throughout the United States and Canada since 2011. Their goal is to introduce modern architecture to people across the nation. This will be Modern Home Tours’ first ever event in Seattle.
