Another creative design from George Suyama: a remodel of a 4,101 square foot house built in 1966 on Mercer Island.  Facing west on 0.71 acres, this house at 4215 Holly Lane has views over Lake Washington.  The main house has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms (2 up, 1 down), and separate living, family, media rooms.  The kitchen is open to the dining room and there is an extra staircase just off the kitchen, so you don’t have to go far for snacks.  For $2,599,950, it includes a separate apartment, garage parking for 5+ cars, and community waterfront with dock moorage.  What I like most about the Suyama designs I’ve seen is the feeling of tranquility they radiate.  All it needs is some modern style furniture to complete the package.
