Mark your calendars for the 2022 Seattle Home Fairs
The City of Seattle Department of Construction and Inspection (SDCI) will be hosting its popular Seattle Home Fairs on Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30. The two-day virtual event will provide attendees with relevant information on everything from the City’s permitting process and code requirements to landlord/tenant regulations in Seattle.
The schedule repeats itself over two days, giving Seattleites a few of opportunities to attend the sessions most well-suited to them. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., experts will focus on landslide prevention, tree rules and the City’s enforcement of tree code, and accessory dwelling units. From 1-3 p.m., sessions will highlight how to protect your home in case of an earthquake, landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities and new single-family zone floor area ratios. After the presentations, audience members can ask questions specific to their property, project or situation. RSVPs are appreciated, but not required to attend.
Can’t make it to the Seattle Home Fairs’ live virtual events? Don’t worry—SDCI will record each session and make the videos available on its website after the fairs wrap up.
