What’s a passive house? From wikipedia:
The term passive house (Passivhaus in German) refers to a rigorous, voluntary standard for energy efficiency in a building, reducing its ecological footprint.[1] It results in ultra-low energy buildings that require little energy for space heating or cooling.
No utility bills does sound pretty good! Our floating home has been costing $200/month this winter.
Anyhow, we love that these aren’t the usual cookie cutter townhomes. Specifically we love the 100-year old reclaimed barn wood siding both in and out, sleek modern kitchen, concrete floors and roof top deck views. Bummer there are no garages, but it is nice there are storage lockers.
