Interesting Sales Last Week
Sarah sent me this on Monday but I’ve been having too much fun in Mexico to get online and hit publish. Sorry about that! Also, no Friday open house post today since we’re both busy…
According to Redfin, there were 19 townhouse and condo sales last week. Here are a few interesting ones:
Among the pricier sales this week is this two-bedroom townhouse at Salveo Residences in Magnolia. It sold for $510K, and Redfin shows that the price changed a few times since it went on the market in February of 2009. I wonder what they were trying to sell it for originally.
Gallery sold a 13th floor one-bedroom unit this week for $399K, which works out to $631 per square foot, significantly more than the 6th floor studio we blogged about last week, which came in at $480 per square foot.
A two-bedroom unit at Royal Manor sold last week for $330K. We praised Royal Manor back in 2008 for the lovely view from the sixth floor of trees and downtown buildings. I’m guessing this 15th floor unit doesn’t have the trees, but the view of downtown must be spectacular.
I like the concrete and steel aesthetic of this three-bedroom townhouse in Wallingford. It apparently took a while to sell. It was first listed in August of 2008. It looks like they took down the price a few times before selling it last week at $473,000.
I like the modern blocky design of this three-bedroom townhouse in Ballard. Apparently I’m not the only one, as it was off the market two weeks after it was listed! The lucky buyer got it for $345,000, only $230 per square foot. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Golden Gardens too!
