Graystone Condos On First Hill Start Reservations
Graystone, the 271-unit 31-story condo building by Daniels Real Estate (they built Gridiron) announced that they’re starting reservations now with a 2022 completion date. Prices start under $500k with 60% of the homes under $1m.
It is an interesting time to launch a new condo building for sale as the downtown condo market struggles, but by 2022 when Graystone completes, this pandemic should be behind us.
To reserve a unit there is a $5,000 refundable deposit that can be paid in monthly sums. Presales will start when the sales gallery opens in spring of 2021 the refundable deposit converts to 5% earnest money.
In terms of amenities, the most unique is a park:
The 9,000-square-foot, two-tiered waterfall park on the corner of 8th and Columbia is one of the highlights of the project. The park will be a significant neighborhood amenity with landscaping and outdoor art.
The building also will feature the expected top floor amenity space:
A penthouse on the top floor includes four amenity spaces designed for entertaining, as well as two large outdoor rooms reflecting different moods. A quiet courtyard includes views of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier to the south, while a larger outdoor plaza features al fresco dining and fireplaces overlooking Elliott Bay and Lake Union to the north. The penthouse also includes a chef’s kitchen and private dining club, sumptuous media room with a stone fireplace, and a game lounge that extends to the outdoor plaza for larger gatherings.
As well as a gym on the second floor.
