Fundraising Update; $1,175 So Far
Thanks to everyone who has donated to help fight cancer. So far Urban Living readers and friends have donated $1,175, which is just awesome. In fact, it’s above the initial goal of $1,000 which I originally set when I signed up for the LIVESTRONG Challenge. Since there’s still a few more days to raise money I upped the goal to $2,500. Can we get there this week!?
In order to get in shape this past weekend we rode in the Flying Wheels Century [PDF] out to Snohomish and Monroe. I hadn’t ridden out that way before and just loved the ride and can’t wait to do the ride this Sunday (check out the route [pdf]).
For those who missed the first few posts, this coming Sunday I’m cycling 100 miles in the LIVESTRONG Challenge and would love your support. This blog is a labor of love and I don’t ask for much, but now I’m asking that if you find this blog helpful to please support me by donating to the LIVESTRONG Challenge which is raising money to fight cancer. You can read more about why I’m doing this in my first post about it.
