I was feeling bad about my last post going pending already, so I found you this West Seattle penthouse with unobstructed city views from Magnolia to Harbor Island. That’s half the square foot price of 111 W Highland Dr. The listing says nautical themed and they aren’t kidding, wood and brass abound. The built-ins look great, but I would tone down the walls by staining them a lighter color (white?), so to keep the texture of the wood. Then we come to the bar/kitchen. It’s the ultimate in open concept, but it probably scares most folks off. A good designer could get it under control. Situated across from Seacrest Park, the water taxi to downtown is just a short scenic walk away. Finally, elevator entrance, balconies off 2 bedrooms, 2 fireplaces, and 2 garage spots. All in all worth checking out. You never know, you might like it just the way it is.
