Eastside weekly wrap-up: new listings continue climbing while pending sales stay flat
For those holding out for more inventory, the last two weeks have shown good signs as new listings on the Eastside have continued to tick upward, increasing 15% over the weeks prior. This is great to see as we are about to turn the corner into the real start of the Spring listing season of March, April, and May.
Our advice the last few weeks has been for buyers to stay patient while we wait for more listings and mortgage rates continue to rise. It seems like you’ve all been listening as pending homes have stayed relatively flat for the last few weeks. 30% of the homes listed in February on the Eastside are still active!
A few homes that caught our eye recently: a custom-built waterfront home in Newport Shores and a Yarrow Point NW contemporary that feels all windows and water. For mid-century lovers, here are three in Kenmore, Kirkland, and on Mercer Island!
