Bellevue Median Price Nearly $1m over Seattle’s

The Seattle Times highlighted the Eastside this week, Prosperity bomb 2.0? Bellevue passes Manhattan in housing prices.

All this frothiness has led to a watershed moment: Tech-fueled Bellevue has now passed the borough of Manhattan in housing prices. Redfin reports that Manhattan’s median price is depressed a bit from its pre-pandemic highs, and is now $100,000 less than Bellevue’s at $1.25 million.

But this is based on December data. If you look at the most recent available data, January, for Bellevue and Seattle, Bellevue’s median price has hit $1,712,500 nearly a $1m over Seattle’s $775,000! Bellevue is on fire. The Seattle market is hot, but looks tame in comparison.
