And the winners are…
While I was enjoying my first ever massage in an attempt to remove my writers block among other stresses I’m sure numerous architects were likely biting their nails waiting to hear if their developments’ won an AIA Honor Award tonight at Benaroya Hall.
It looks like many of our favorite projects were entered. Here are the residential buildings (surprisingly including a few townhomes which we normally all mock!)…
Built Residential
2200
Agnes Lofts
Alexander Town Homes
Corson Avenue Lofts
Nomo Town Homes
Park Modern
Smith Penthouse
Unbuilt Residential
1521
Alki Point Condominiums
Ava
Unico Modular
I’m of course bummed Trace Lofts didn’t enter but maybe the $250 entry fee was too high for Johnson Architects? Are there any other projects that you feel should have been nominated but weren’t? Who would you vote for?
But most importantly, WHO WON? If you attended the events let us know which building will be issuing a press release tomorrow morning.
