Looking for a brightly colored loft?

Check out this 19th Ave Loft that just came on the market:

Only $399,950 for 870 square feet.

Personally I’d go for #210. While slightly less square feet, at $379,950, it’s the same dollars a square foot and looks a whole lot more tasteful (at least online.) It’s also been on the market for 54 days so expect some price reductions for both these overpriced units.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the 870 sf includes the loft area? So is not a “true 870” for the purposes of calcing a price/sf

Thanks — I came across 210 earlier and thought it looked just a little *too* neobrutalist, plus you could fall out of bed into the kitchen. So this place is a nice contrast and shows what you can do with the space.

But I always want a floorplan with these ads. Closets, layout. When you click through, this thing has a picture of what looks like a 2nd bedroom. Huh? Where? Anyway, just sayin’ that folks might get more bites if ads helped you visualize the whole unit.

I’ll forgive them HDR or wide angle (though I’ve seen some pretty entertaining fish-eye pix) as long as a photo is reasonably informative. Could we have a post to rant about bad real estate pictures? I would start with close-ups of the toilet — indoor plumbing is pretty much standard these days, and I really don’t need a photograph to prove there’s a water-closet.
