My Visit to the Parc – Still Only 75% Sold
On Saturday I swung by The Parc with Ming and Chelsea.
Of 185 units they have 138 sold. Some of which are being flipped.
Funny enough the sales center is moving from their third floor 2 bedroom unit to a live/work loft at street that they are going to rent from someone who was trying to flip the unit as a for sale by owner.
Ming’s looking for a one bedroom and we toured a few units:
#629, 685 sq. ft., $379k
#709, 512 sq. ft., $359k
#906, 690 sq. ft., $349k
#910, 549 sq. ft., $360k
The building didn’t impress me much. Sure it’s got a gym, terrace and concierge but its over priced and got no soul. It’s the kind of building that you’d recommend that your parents move into if they wanted to move to downtown Seattle and wanted to be in the thick of things but still have some peace and quiet.
There was also some features of the units that were odd. Take for instance this tacked on double vanity:
It’s as if the marketing consultant came in and said that they were failing selling to couples and they need to add another vanity so they just dropped one in.
I also wasn’t a fan of the tile backsplash in the kitchen:
Or the fire places that stick out (which are particularly odd in a 500 square foot condo):
I did like that they had heavily wired the place and pre-wired the ceiling. Though maybe 5 cable drops in the living room is a little excessive…
I have a few more photos in my Parc photo gallery. And you can find more Parc units on the MLS.
