New listings skyrocket across Seattle!
Wow! New listings were up 27% w-o-w in Seattle and up 50% on the Eastside (see the charts below). This is welcome news for buyers – they now have many more options, so bidding wars should be less crazy. But this is bad news for many sellers who will now have more competition (this is why we recommend that sellers get on the market in February and March!) Of course, the big question is, will buyers still be gung-ho for all these new listings with rates in the mid-7s?
Don’t miss some great new listings below – like the “triangle house” aka the Egan house which I must have driven past a thousand times. I’m curious to see what it sells for.
And next week, stay tuned because we’ve been invited to an event at First Light – they’re going to hoist a McLaren onto their 47th-floor pool deck!?
