I find this odd an promotion. If you’re a teacher or student you get 3 years of paid homeowner dues:

Teachers are eligible for $0 down financing with the support of the Washington State Housing Finance Commision’s down payment assistance second mortgage program. Payments start as little as $1,400.*

Students are also eligible for special FHA financing rates with as little as 3.5% down with payments as low as $1,330.*
