Weekly Wrapup – New Listings Slow Down
The number of new listings this past week was done about 10%, which is to be expected as things slow down for fall and soon, winter.
We wrote just a couple offers this past week:
- We offered on a Capitol Hill home listed at $1.285m that went past its offer deadline. However, the day we sent our offer in, they ended up with two other offers so we ended up paying list price instead of a little less, which was what we were hoping for :).
- We offered on a West Seattle condo listed at $260k that got four offers and sounds like it is pending around $280k
- We heard about a Central-area townhome that was listed at $450k that got 3 offers and will sell for $512k (doubling in value in five years).
Elsewhere on the Internet, we did some reading on URM in, Understanding the Unreinforced Masonry Problem.
