U Place at Union Bay – Condos Coming to the U-District

We were surprised to read this morning in the PSBJ that a new condo building is not just coming to the area but has already broken ground!

U Place at Union Bay is a 244-unit mixed-use condo project in the U-District close to U-Village at 4603 Union Bay Place NE.

Of the 244 condos, 217 will be studios. Should be done in 2018.

Being developed by Chinese firm, ZQH Investment, it was designed by local firm, DLR, and being built by Chinn Construction.
