Spire Reports 114 First Positions
After two weekends of reservations (first a VIP weekend, then a “public” weekend) Spire, the 352 unit condo at 600 Wall St, has put out a press release stating that they have 130 reservations, which breaks down to 114 first position reservations, 12 second position reservations and 4 third position reservations. Mid-last week we estimated that they were at 115 first position reservations based on a photo sent to us of their reservation board.
They’re also at work on a sales center:
…5,000-sq. ft. sales center is being constructed at 2218 5th Avenue in Belltown complete with a full-scale model home, a design center, a 9-foot scale model of the tower, a context model of the neighborhood and immersive virtual reality experiences to help convey the final product offering. A sample collection of unit listings is posted to the NWMLS with an offer review date scheduled for October 31, 2018. This date follows the grand opening of the SPIRE sales center and a public sales event scheduled for October 27.
Spire is doing better than I expected given how stagnant the condo market is right now. I’m also surprised there are so few second position reservations. Given the conversion rate we’ve seen in the past, if you are interested in a unit that is already reserved at Spire, I’d consider putting a backup reservation in, you may get lucky.
