“The Treehouse” a MCM in Magnolia

Another week, another mid-century modern in Magnolia. Unfortunately never heard back from the listing agent so you’ll need to login to find out more.

This one is at 3601 Perkins Lane W. Given the Perkins Lane address I would have expected a view. But this one is dubbed “the Treehouse” for a reason.

We love the vaulted ceilings and the vertical interior wood ceiling gives the place a cabin-y feel. We, of course, like the Eames lounger, distressed leather couch and vintage movie light. I do like monster kitchens but feel that there is perhaps almost too much distance between the counters in this one.

The mini door under the stairs is a nice touch.

Listed at $995k it is 2,540 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
