Olive 8 Cuts Prices
Last week we blogged a quote from a PSBJ article from the Olive 8 developer saying he wouldn’t cut prices:
“We’re very comfortable, frankly, with the position we’re in now,” said Thyer. “We don’t have significant lender pressure to discount the project further or to push against the tide, so to speak.”
Okay, so he didn’t exactly say they wouldn’t drop prices, but he did say there is no significant pressure which last week made me think that they wouldn’t be cutting prices soon. Imagine my surprise this morning when I saw them cut prices on six units (of the 23 listed on the MLS):
Ph #2: $2,595,000 to $2,495,000
#3800: $2,450,000 to $2,295,000
#3205: $865,000 to $855,000
#3208: $565,000 to $557,500
#3207: $530,000 to $505,000
#3206: $540,000 to $500,000
