200 West Highland: Last Unit Standing
Update 4/12: Last one is no longer standing. #505 went pending yesterday.
Matt has been telling me to go tour 200 West Highland for over a month. It’s been slowly making its way to the top of my to-do list. But when I saw Matt’s post yesterday about the Seattle Times article reporting that only two units are left, I figured I better hustle myself over there before there are no available units left to see.
So I picked up the phone and dialed Stacy Brower to see if I could get a quick tour of the remaining two. Imagine my surprise when she says, “Actually, there’s only 1 left – #505. As of 4PM yesterday, #405 went pending.” Lucky for me, Stacy was en route to the property and kind enough to show me the last unit standing this afternoon. I took a couple quick photos (including some disappointingly dark photos, all of which you can see here).
So here’s what the last unit (#505) has to offer:
- Top floor unit
- 2 bedroom + den, 2 bath
- 1,768 square feet
- List price: $900K
- HOA dues: $900
The listing description gives a good accounting of the appliances, fixtures, and finishes if you want more information. Highlights from my quick tour included:
There’s a cool skylight in the master bath to light the pair of sinks below.
The den makes for a cozy media room (but you always have the option of closing it off to convert to a third bedroom, or making it into an office).
The unit is on the northeast corner of the building, but you still get a peek at the bay from the main living room.
Last, unlike some of the other 25 units in the building, this unit doesn’t have a balcony (balcony pictured above is for neighboring unit). And, while there’s ample closet space, closet systems have not been installed so that’s one detail you’ll have to take care of post-purchase.
